Just love this...Here's another story you might consider. Around 2003 a woman came down to the compound with two huge dobermans. The barked incessantly at the cats, so Blackie slowly went up to them and nudged ever close until he was no more than an inch away. The dogs went wild, and the Blackie raised himself on his hind legs and with both claws swiped the nosed of both dogs. The last I saw was the woman running after her two dogs yelping down the hill towards Wellington Street. And Blackie? Proud as Mohammed Ali after winning the Thrilla in Mainilla. And to this day, he still goes after dogs...but only the big ones...the small ones he leaves to Bebe.
